Set Filter - General (Search=>Filter=>General)

By default, all waypoints are displayed in the database view, however, GSAK provides extensive filtering features so that you can view a subset of the waypoints in the current database.   You can use the Name Search feature to quickly narrow down the waypoints displayed, based on the name of the waypoint.  Alternatively, you can use the Set Filter dialog box to define complex filters based on waypoint name, cache type, found status, bearing, difficulty, and many other criteria.  When you alter any of the search criteria, the field name of that criterion is highlighted in yellow.

You can cancel any filter by clicking on the Cancel Filter toolbar button, or by pressing the Esc key.  Additionally, you can cancel a Quick Search filter by blanking out the contents of the Quick Search edit field.

You can display this dialog box by choosing Search Þ Filter, or by using the keyboard shortcut, Ctrl-F., or by clicking the Filter or Search for Required Cache toolbar button .

Click on any screen section for more information about that feature.
