Search Delay (Tools=>Options=>Advanced)

Use this option to set a delay (in milli seconds) as you type characters into the name or code search box at the top of the screen.

Currently when you enter characters into this box, GSAK immediately does the filter and returns the sub set (this can get a bit sticky on large databases - 30,000+ ) With the time delay GSAK will not do the search until the number of milli seconds has elapsed after a keystroke has been entered. For example, currently if you searched for the word "river" GSAK would first set a filter on caches containing "r" then "ri" then "riv" then "rive" and finally "river" - notice the screen jumps each time. With the time delay in place, as long as each keystroke is done within the time limit set ( suggested value is 200 milli seconds) the filter is not set until you key in the full "river".
