File Type to Generate (File=>Export=>GPX)
Use these radio buttons to select the type of file to generate.
GPX - full-featured information that includes cache description, logs, and much more
LOC - very basic information that includes code, name, and coordinates.
GGZ - Similar to GPX but is a Garmin specific compressed file format which is usually only used in later models of Garmin GPSr units
GPX format also supports a version number. Most applications support 1.0 but some of the newer applications will only work with 1.1
